TOTS is here. Week 1 dropped on April 17 with four squads simultaneously (Serie A, Eredivisie, MLS, Rest of Europe), and the biggest week of the entire FC calendar is queued up for April 24 with Premier League, EFL Combined, and Barclays WSL. From here until Ultimate TOTS on May 22, Ultimate Team becomes the highest-volume content period of the year, with the highest-rated cards and the steepest market swings.

This guide covers everything you need to know: the full released squads with stats, the Week 2 teams reported ahead of release, the confirmed upcoming schedule, the SBCs released so far, and how to think about your coin strategy now that the market is in full TOTS mode.

TL;DR for EA FC 26 TOTS (as of April 23, 2026):

TOTS status and release schedule

EA officially confirmed the TOTS schedule on April 16 through the in-game news tab. The cycle is split into six release weeks, each at 6 PM GMT on Fridays, with multiple leagues dropping simultaneously. Here's where things stand:

Week Date Leagues Status
Week 1 April 17 Serie A, Eredivisie, MLS, Rest of Europe ✅ Live
Week 2 April 24 Premier League, EFL Combined, BWSL 📄 Confirmed
Week 3 May 1 Bundesliga, Saudi Pro League, Rest of the World, Frauen Bundesliga 📄 Confirmed
Week 4 May 8 Ligue 1, Süper Lig, NWSL, Arkema Première Ligue 📄 Confirmed
Week 5 May 15 LaLiga, Liga Portugal, Liga F 📄 Confirmed
Week 6 May 22 Ultimate TOTS 📄 Confirmed

Notable differences from previous cycles: no standalone Community TOTS this year (EFL Combined fills that slot), and Serie A kicked off Week 1 rather than the smaller leagues. The combined release of four squads on day one was also unusually large.

Week 1: Serie A TOTS (released April 17)

Serie A opened TOTS with 22 cards, one of the biggest single-league squads in recent memory. Modric leads at 97 CDM with elite passing and dribbling, and is already shaping up to be one of the most-used midfielders of the promo. Nico Paz, Yildiz, and Dimarco all hit 96. Nico Paz brings technical flair, Yildiz the Juventus finisher profile, and Dimarco one of the best meta LBs in the game.

For hybrid builders, there's plenty to work with: Lautaro Martínez (95 ST), Bremer (95 CB), McTominay (94 CM), Jacobo Ramón (94 CB), Zieliński (93 CDM), Palestra (93 RB), Rabiot (92 CM), and Ndicka (92 CB). For strikers, Højlund (91), Davis (90), and Douvikas (90) fill out the rest of the pool.

Week 1: Eredivisie TOTS (released April 17)

The Eredivisie squad landed with 14 cards, headlined by PSV duo Veerman (96 CM) and Mauro Júnior (95 LB). Veerman's passing and dribbling combination makes him one of the best value midfielders in Week 1, especially on PSV-linked hybrids. Sano (95 CM, NEC) rounds out the top tier alongside Saibari (94 CAM) and Schouten (94 CB).

For hybrid builders, the Japanese contingent is strong this year: Sano (NEC), Ueda (Feyenoord), and Watanabe (Feyenoord) give flexible Eredivisie-Japan links. Koeman Jr. at 91 GK is a budget-friendly shot-stopper, and Ihattaren's 91 CAM is a nostalgic pick for older players with surprisingly strong attacking stats.

Week 1: MLS TOTS (released April 17)

MLS delivered 14 cards led by Messi at 96 CAM. His 96/95/95/95 pace-shooting-passing-dribbling spread has made him an immediate target for Inter Miami hybrids and Argentina national-team links. Bouanga and Evander follow at 95, with Roldan and Dreyer at 94 giving strong midfield and wide options.

St. Clair at 92 GK is a solid keeper with Canadian chemistry potential, and Glesnes (93 CB) and Blackmon (92 CB) offer defensive options. Surridge (91 ST) and Ayala (91 CDM, Inter Miami) round out the 91 tier.

Week 1: Rest of Europe TOTS (released April 17)

The Rest of Europe squad covers the leagues outside the main TOTS rotation: Greek, Swiss, Czech, Polish, Scottish, Belgian, Swedish, Bosnian, and Japanese among others. Tripić leads at 96 RW with elite pace (96 PAC) and solid all-round stats. Berg (95 CDM), Chorý (95 ST), and Giugliano (95 CM) round out the top tier.

This squad is historically one of the best sources of value cards during TOTS. Many of these players fit into hybrid builds that would otherwise require expensive chemistry solutions, and several tend to drop in price quickly once the bigger leagues release.

Week 2: Premier League TOTS (releases April 24)

The Premier League squad is the biggest drop of the entire TOTS cycle in terms of meta impact and market disruption. The team has been widely reported ahead of release, and it's 22 cards deep. Full stats are subject to final confirmation when cards go live at 6 PM GMT on April 24. Bruno Fernandes headlines at 97 CAM with 97 PAS and 96 DRI. Rice (96 CDM, Arsenal) is the only other 96 in the squad.

Five players land at 95: Haaland (ST), van Dijk (CB), Gabriel (CB), Szoboszlai (CAM), and David Raya (GK). From a meta perspective, this squad is stacked at the back with elite-rated defenders from multiple top clubs. Arsenal gets heavy representation with six players including Rice, Gabriel, Raya, Saliba, and Timber. Cherki (94 RW) at Man City looks like a potential meta pick with 98 DRI.

Week 2: EFL Combined TOTS (releases April 24)

EFL Combined takes the Community TOTS slot this year, drawing from the Championship, League One, and League Two. Léo Scienza (96 LM, Southampton) leads the squad with elite pace and dribbling. Crama, Grimes, Hackney, and Wright all land at 94 across different positions, with Hackney's 91 PAC / 94 DRI / 92 DEF / 93 PHY making him one of the most balanced midfielders in the entire Week 2 drop.

These squads have historically been great fodder for SBCs and cheap hybrid chemistry. Several of the CBs in this team (Taylor, Crama, O'Shea, Sowunmi) will likely be some of the most affordable elite defenders on the market once the dust settles on PL week.

The Barclays WSL squad brings 14 cards headlined by Khadija Shaw at 96 ST. Man City dominates with Shaw, Casparij (90 RB), Fujino (92 RM), and Hasegawa (92 CDM). Arsenal's Mariona at 95 CM is a standout midfielder, and Manchester United have strong representation with Park (94 CM) and Le Tissier (91 CB). TOTS SBCs and Objectives released so far

Alongside the main pack squads, EA has been dropping a steady flow of SBCs and Objectives throughout Week 1. These cards are earnable through Squad Building Challenges and in-game objectives, not found in packs. Here's everything live so far plus what's reported for Week 2.

Week 1 guaranteed SBCs (the big ones)

Max 94 Week 1 TOTS Upgrade SBC. Guarantees a TOTS or TOTS Breakthrough player rated 94 or lower from Serie A, Eredivisie, MLS, or Rest of Europe. Costs roughly 19,500 coins on console and 20,250 on PC, and is repeatable up to 3 times per account. The 94 rating cap excludes the very top cards like Modric, Messi, or the 95+ tier, but covers most of the usable TOTS pool. Expires April 24 at 6 PM UTC.

1 of 3 Week 1 TOTS Player Pick SBC. Offers a choice of three TOTS items from the Week 1 pool, plus a Premium Gold Pack and two standard Gold Packs as segment rewards. Costs around 72,250 on console and 70,250 on PC. Repeatable twice. This one tends to be the higher-EV option if you want a shot at top-tier picks. Expires April 29 at 6 PM UTC.

Pohjanpalo TOTS 92 ST SBC (released April 23 evening content). Joel Pohjanpalo as a Finland TOTS striker with 90 PAC, 93 SHO, 87 PAS, 91 DRI, 55 DEF, 92 PHY. The alternative-league striker niche is often the best-value SBC strikers of any TOTS cycle.

Week 1 TOTS Honourable Mentions (released via SBC)

Silver TOTS HM Objectives (Week 1)

EA also released a set of silver-rated TOTS Honourable Mentions through objectives. Released so far: Francesco Pio Esposito (Inter youth, Silver Serie A), Miles Robinson (San Diego FC, Silver MLS), and Jacob Trenskow (Silver Eredivisie).

Week 2 SBCs reported ahead of release (April 24 onwards)

FUT Sheriff has shared the following reports ahead of Premier League week. Stats may change on release. Source: FUT Sheriff on X.

Based on past TOTS cycles, expect more SBC and objective drops throughout Week 2. The Premier League week historically produces the highest SBC volume of the entire cycle. Holding SBC fodder (85-88 rated cards) now is generally a good move; fodder prices tend to spike during Premier League TOTS SBC windows.

Upcoming league schedule

Here are the confirmed release dates for the remaining leagues, based on EA's in-game news announcement on April 16:

No player reports have surfaced yet for these weeks. As FUT Sheriff and other community sources typically drop reports 3-5 days before each release, expect the first Bundesliga and Saudi Pro League info around April 28-29. We'll update this article as they arrive.

How TOTS works

Team of the Season (TOTS) is EA FC's annual six-week promo celebrating the best real-world performers from the 2025/26 football season. Each week, EA releases new squads tied to specific leagues, with player ratings typically ranging from 89 to 99 OVR. The cards enter the regular pack pool on release day and stay there for one week before rotating out.

Unlike TOTY (which covers the calendar year and is fan-voted), TOTS selections come from EA in collaboration with domestic league representatives and Opta's performance data. The Bundesliga TOTS includes a fan-vote component alongside club and expert selections.

TOTS cards enter the regular pack pool during their release week, which means any pack containing gold players can theoretically contain a TOTS item. When a new league's TOTS drops, the previous league's cards leave the main pack pool. They return during Ultimate TOTS at the end of the cycle.

This is also the period where FUT Champions and Division Rivals rewards become most valuable, because reward packs have a chance of containing TOTS cards. Pack contents are determined at the moment you open them, so packs saved from previous weeks will now contain TOTS items if opened today. If you've been saving, now is the time to start opening strategically.

The TOTS market crash

TOTS tends to produce one of the biggest market crashes of the FC cycle. The combination of massive pack openings, high-rated cards flooding the market, and sellers liquidating positions creates sustained downward pressure on almost every card category. The effect typically deepens as more leagues release and reaches its lowest point around Ultimate TOTS.

So far this week, we've already seen early signs: gold rares from popular leagues have dropped meaningfully, and earlier promo cards (Fantasy FC, Future Stars, FUT Birthday) have lost value as attention shifts to new TOTS items. The Premier League release on April 24 is historically when the deepest crashes begin, because PL packs see the highest pack openings of any TOTS week.

Cards that tend to drop the hardest: mid-tier promo items, gold rares from top leagues, and earlier-released TOTS cards (Week 1 leagues often drop once PL hits). Cards that tend to hold value better: SBC fodder (85-88 rated cards rise due to SBC demand), Icons and Heroes with unique profiles, and top-tier TOTS items from the biggest leagues once the initial supply surge settles.

For the full crash playbook, including when to sell, when to buy, and the SBC fodder strategy, see our dedicated TOTS market crash guide.

Coin strategy from here on

TOTS is the period when coins typically go furthest on the transfer market. The same amount of coins that bought a mid-meta midfielder in February can often build a full starter XI during the Ultimate TOTS window. That's the core value proposition of buying coins during TOTS: it's not that sellers are cheaper, it's that the in-game market is flooded.

If you bought coins before TOTS started, you're in a good position: sell your pre-crash cards early, hold the coins, and spend them during Weeks 2 to 4 when the market is at its most buyer-friendly. If you're buying coins now, the Premier League week (April 24) and the period leading into Ultimate TOTS (May 15 to 22) are historically the strongest purchasing-power windows.

Our general guidance across TOTS cycles: don't overpay for Week 1 cards if you can avoid it. Prices tend to settle 3 to 5 days into each release, and earlier-league cards often drop further once the bigger leagues hit. The exception is if you specifically want that league for a hybrid build, in which case the premium might be worth it.

FAQ

Is TOTS live in FC 26?

Yes. Week 1 launched on April 17, 2026 with Serie A, Eredivisie, MLS, and Rest of Europe. Week 2 is confirmed for April 24 with Premier League, EFL Combined, and Barclays WSL.

When does Premier League TOTS come out in FC 26?

Friday April 24, 2026 at 6 PM GMT (1 PM ET / 10 AM PT). EA has officially confirmed the date. The full team has been widely reported ahead of release, with Bruno Fernandes (97 CAM) leading the squad.

What's the full FC 26 TOTS schedule?

Week 1 (Apr 17): Serie A, Eredivisie, MLS, Rest of Europe. Week 2 (Apr 24): Premier League, EFL Combined, BWSL. Week 3 (May 1): Bundesliga, Saudi Pro League, Rest of the World, Frauen Bundesliga. Week 4 (May 8): Ligue 1, Süper Lig, NWSL, Arkema Première Ligue. Week 5 (May 15): LaLiga, Liga Portugal, Liga F. Week 6 (May 22): Ultimate TOTS.

Is there a Community TOTS in FC 26?

No. EA did not release a standalone Community TOTS for FC 26. EFL Combined is filling that slot on April 24, covering standout performers from the Championship, League One, and League Two.

Who are the best Serie A TOTS cards?

The top four by OVR are Modric (97 CDM, AC Milan), Dimarco (96 LB, Inter), Nico Paz (96 CAM, Como), and Yildiz (96 CAM, Juventus). For meta purposes, Modric's 97 PAS / 96 DRI combo and Dimarco's all-round LB stats are among the strongest.

Who is the highest-rated Premier League TOTS card?

Bruno Fernandes at 97 CAM is the headliner, with 94 PAC, 94 SHO, 97 PAS, 96 DRI, 82 DEF, 88 PHY. Rice follows at 96 CDM. Haaland, van Dijk, Gabriel, Szoboszlai, and David Raya round out the 95 tier. Shaw at 96 ST (Man City) leads the BWSL squad released the same day.

What SBCs are available during TOTS Week 1?

The two big guaranteed SBCs are the Max 94 Week 1 TOTS Upgrade (around 19,500 coins, repeatable 3x, expires April 24) and the 1 of 3 Week 1 TOTS Player Pick (around 72,250 coins, repeatable 2x, expires April 29). EA has also released TOTS Honourable Mention SBCs for Marco Reus, Heung-Min Son, Ederson, Sergiño Dest, Domenico Berardi, and Manuel Locatelli, plus objective-based cards for Saelemaekers, Pavlovic, Parrott, El Karouani, and others.

Will there be a market crash during TOTS?

Historically, yes. TOTS has consistently produced one of the biggest market crashes of the FC cycle. The effect typically deepens as more leagues release and reaches its lowest point around Ultimate TOTS. Early signs this week already show meaningful drops on mid-tier promo cards. See our TOTS market crash guide for details on what drops and what holds.

Should I save packs for TOTS?

Yes, if you haven't been already. Pack contents are determined at the moment you open them, not when you earn them, so any packs saved from before April 17 now contain Week 1 TOTS cards when opened. Rare player packs and 100k/125k packs give the best odds. Many players split their pack openings: some now for Week 1 cards, some saved for Premier League week (April 24), and the rest for Ultimate TOTS (May 22).

Should I open my packs now or wait for Ultimate TOTS?

It depends on what you want. Opening during Weeks 2 to 5 gives you chances at specific league cards you might target for your squad. Opening during Ultimate TOTS gives you access to the best overall players across all leagues simultaneously. Many players split the difference: open some packs during Premier League week for chances at the big PL cards, then save the rest for Ultimate TOTS.

Are the Week 2 team reports reliable?

FUT Sheriff and other community sources have a strong track record across recent FC cycles. These are community reports with reliable but not official information. Stats and even specific players can change before release. The actual release is April 24 at 6 PM GMT; final confirmation of all cards and stats comes at that moment.

When is the best time to buy coins during TOTS?

Historically, the strongest purchasing-power windows are Premier League week (around April 24 this year) and the lead-in to Ultimate TOTS (May 15 to 22). During these periods, in-game card prices are at their lowest while coin prices from third-party sellers stay relatively flat. For more on coin buying timing, see our Best Time to Buy FC Coins guide.
